NAPCORE is an EU project that aims to harmonize and better coordinate the national central platforms for traffic data in Europe. The general objective of the project is to empower the National Access Points (NAPs) as the backbone for ITS digital infractructure. Also, it will facilitate national and EU wide operational coordination for the harmonisation and implementation of the European specifications.
OJP4Danube project is Applying the method of Open Journey Planning (OJP) in an operative environment with focus to main railway corridors and to cycling routes.
The Danube Region is lacking a fully multimodal network (road, rail, water transport) and suffers from transport bottlenecks mainly in the area of road transport causing negative impact on citizens and nature. High administrative fragmentation of the transport sector is a big obstacle in the realisation of effective multimodal networks.

Linking Danube deals with insufficient provision of cross-border traveller information on public transport, particularly considering cross-border commuting and mobility in rural areas. The overall project objective is to foster environmentally-friendly mobility options and balanced accessibility in the Danube Region through transnational, interoperable and multimodal journey planning in urban and rural areas. Currently no suitable multimodal, transnational system for travellers exists anywhere in Europe.
DATEX II is a standardized e-language for information exchange between traffic management centers, traffic information centers and service providers and constitutes the reference for applications tha have been developed in the last 10 years.
The European Commission describes the DATEX II standard as preferred in several Delegated Acts supporting the ITS Directive and ITS Action Plan.The number of users is increasing steadily. In 2020 DATEX II will be the information model for road traffic and travel information in Europe.
The EU ITS Platform (EU EIP) is the place where National Ministries, Road Authorities, Road Operators and partners from the private and public sectors of almost all EU Member States and neighboring countries, cooperate in order to foster, accelerate and optimize current and future ITS deployments in Europe in a harmonized way.

Within CROCODILE public authorities, road administrations and traffic information service providers of in total 13 European Member States are committed to set up and operate a data exchange infrastructure based on DATEX II. That infrastructure will be used to exchange data and information between all involved stakeholders, including private partners, with the goal to provide harmonised cross-border traveller information services along the whole corridor.
The “EIP+” continues to pursue the “EIP” objective of fostering the consensus building between EU Member States to provide harmonized ITS Services. The “EIP+” is also the interface with the “Corridor” projects. Furthermore, the particularity of the “EIP+” will be the strong interface with the “Corridor” projects that are co-funded under the EC 2013 ITS Call, by monitoring their technical progress on ITS services implementation that will be performed, as well as collecting and elaborating their results.
The European ITS Platform (EIP) is a key player in supporting future European ITS deployment plans. The EIP combine resources from different EU actors (EIP Member States/Beneficiaries, public and private road operators) in a joint effort to ensure the creation of a proper environment for harmonizing existing and future ITS services according to EU policies and objectives, as well as building upon the achievements of the EasyWay I and II project phases.

The project analyzed the National and European study of emergency systems 112 and eCall technologies. Based on these, the overall architecture of the national eCall system and the implementation guide have been developed.
The main objective of the project is to carry out a study on the development solutions for eCall systems in Romania, to ensure an interoperable eCall service and which will lead to a decrease number of human victims and serious environmental incidents.
